Anger and health

Anger can often cause significant health issues, such as stomachaches. It consumes your energy and body.

The only solution is to let go.

You don’t have to like the person, but understand that after this person heart you, as long as you are still angry the damage continues. If you can forgive, it does not mean you want or will see the person, it only means that the person does not touch your soul anymore.

Re: Anger and health

“In many sermons and many articles both religious and psychological about forgiveness, tile assumption that forgiveness is gentle and therefore anger is its opposite”

Some other interesting quotes:

“Anger and how anger is regulated appear to affect acute and chronic pain intensity”(Burns et al., 2008)

“Today, the idea of forgiveness is understood to entail the voluntary surrender of anger and the desire for retribution precisely when anger is deserved” (Konstan, 2008)
